The goal of the Tennessee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation is to oversee the organization and expansion of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Martial Art within the State of Tennessee. The Tennessee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation operates under the rules and guidelines set forth by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation. The Federation was formed to support you and your school and members.We Tennessean's can build a strong internal structure of BJJ, working with each other no matter who our teams are affiliated with. Our tournament rules are different than the international Federation, to allow more combat much like the tournaments in the 1990's.

TNBJJF Mission Statement ::
The Tennessee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (TNBJJF) was founded with the intent to organize events which will help it's members, affiliates and sponsors understand and pursue the goal of excellence in combat. As well to help Jiu-Jitsu keep its integrity as a Martial Art for self defense while allowing the sporting aspect to be pursued.
Our competitions will be set by the guidelines created from the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation. All our sponsored seminars will be conducted in a professional manor allowing all participants to gain the most knowledge and experience from each event.
