Following the incredible success of the Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), Jiu-Jitsu has taken hold in the United States. Jiu-Jitsu techniques are quickly becoming an essential part of training regiments, being incorporated into many main stream martial arts styles and teachings. The Tennessee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation has been established to oversee the organization and expansion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu within the state of Tennessee. This federation will be operating under the rules and guidelines set forth by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
